Our Approach
Our Therapeutic Approach
At Spectrum Housing Solutions, our core mission is to empower our children and young people with the tools and support they need to transition into successful, confident adulthood. Recognising the diverse and often challenging backgrounds from which our young people come, we are dedicated to providing a supportive and nurturing environment tailored to their unique needs. This commitment is actualised through our collaborative work with leading psychologists and specialists, employing a therapeutic model grounded in evidence-based practices and compliance with the latest guidelines and legislation concerning children's care.
Collaborative Consultation
The cornerstone of our approach is a structured consultation model that ensures continuous support for our teams and, by extension, our children and young people. This model is not only theoretically sound but also empirically supported, adhering strictly to the highest standards and guidelines. Through these consultations, our staff are equipped to offer more effective, reflective, and tailored care. This involves a psychologist working closely with our team to dissect and address the complex issues at hand, often focusing on specific behavioural challenges. This collaborative effort ensures that interventions are both beneficial and enriching for young people under our care as well as the team supporting them.
